Oh boy was that an interesting conversation. Some guilds talk strats, others reminisce about their real life (sports and jobs mostly), but nope… we talked about poop. Everyone has something to do to pass the time. One of my fondest WoW moments came from a normal night of progression raiding with my guild,, on Burning Blade. While a lot of it was “you had to be there moments” as we’re all insulting him in Vent and betting on why he was AFK so long – it’s a raid I’ll always remember because it was a combination of late night giggles and just laughing at the absurdity of it. We’d waited for nearly half an hour for him – I can’t remember his excuse but he had to eat a resurrection at the Grave Yard and was unable to enter the instance thanks to the Debuff and the raid had mostly disintegrated by then. By the time he finally came back his character had flown so far that he was unable to run and collect the body due to fatigue. We all get there and watch him fly straight over and then watch him on the mini-map get further and further away – all the while yelling to him over Vent to wake up or come back. We knocked over OS without an issue just a lazy wipe – so everyone mounts up and starts flying to Nexus – Our main hunter at the time decided to just point his mount in the direction of the Nexus and grab a drink. But it’s late and people are getting tired due to the Guild having players from New Zealand to Western Australia we had to have a specific raid time and the NZ’s were getting tired. WotLK expansion – We’re done raiding Ulduar for the night but had some people who needed some filler gear and decided to do a cruisy mount run of Obsidian Sanctum 3 Drakes alive and Malygos for gear and mount chances. #Ironfell wow full
The full game isn’t out until the end of August. But if you’re not sure what to play, or you’ve been thinking about returning to the land of Azeroth for a bit, then there’s World of Warcraft: Legion. The middle of the year is usually a good time to get into MMOs.
